I bought this "telescope" as a present for my mother-in-law, and after setting it up, waiting for it to get dark and walking outside to try it, discovered that this is only a star finder with no optics at all. The images are inside of the scope. <br /> <br />Didn't really get that from the instructions here. Waste of money, although I'm sure she'll enjoy using it to help learn about what she's looking at when she gets a real telescope. It is difficult to read the small print and see everything. It would be much better with a larger viewing area. Not worth the price of almost $50.
